WOW, FANTASTIC111I am so pleased with the look, and sound quality of this radio. I tried two other companies for a good vintage looking radio (one was much too tiny, useless, not worth the money, the other sounded awful) and was about to give up when I found this one and am I thrilled. It looks like an old short wave radio from the 40s and has a terrific sound. The tuning is tight and easy to manipulate to locate a station, and of course, the dial lights up with a warm glow when on, very old school. I use it mostly for a.m. talk radio and am not disappointed. It picks up the station beautifully, has a clear sound and great bass. It does have a bit of static but nothing that interferes with the joy of listening and looking.

love it!Ok, I pretty much NEVER write reviews but this little radio needs some accolades. First of all, IT IS ADORABLE!! it is so cute and totally matches my 1928 home!! Second, it is super easy to use! a 3-way switch for toggling between FM, AM and BT; a lit up dial for radio station setting (honestly the numbers my be a little off but I don’t care – unless I put on my readers, I cant see the numbers anyway – I didn’t bother putting them on since it was super easy to find my station!); Off/On/Volume control knob, which I love! Old-Skool Fabulous!! All the knobs/dials are in the front of the radio – easy access! Just plug it in and go!The sound on FM is pretty good – nice and Bass-y, like I like it. However, if you switch to BT, the sound gets rather muffled. So much so that you have to crank up the volume more than where it is set for FM. Once it is audible, it music sounds like it’s being played through a pillow. This is why I removed one star. For me, it’s not a big deal because my music is played more for background noise, not thumping parties.Overall, if you are a Luddite, like me, enjoy the classic look of antiques and don’t need Bose quality sound, then this is the radio/BT for you. I know you will love it like I do.

A part of my youthThe radio has great sound for its size. I love the retro look. I am 75, and when I was a boy many people still had radios like this in the living room. At that time the radios were all A.M. In the rural town where I lived F.M and television were several years in the future. The only issue I have had with the product is the size of the numbers on the tuning dial. I can’t say whether the radio needs a bigger dial or I need younger eyes.

Just buy it if you’re in to vintage stuff and like to listen to easy music( Jazz, classical, etc.) Definitely not for the hardcore Metallica or Slayer fan. lol

Great design, wish it were a little louderI like the design a lot. The FM channels aren’t quite where they should be on the dial, but I still found my favorite station. I wish it were louder. I have to really turn the dial up to hear both the radio and when I connect my phone through the Bluetooth. Over all I like it.
